The Weemen tied their best offensive inning of the season in the top of the first, pushing across 2 runs on 4 consecutive hits before a double play killed their early momentum. The Sasquatch answered quickly with 3 of their own in the bottom half of the first, with each member of the team picking up an RBI. Unfortunately for the Weemen, the ability to string together hits disappeared into thin air after that strong first inning and despite having 2 base runners in each of the following innings, they never put another run up on the board.
Anderson pitched a solid and effective game while his squad used a patient approach with Amidon to add 4 more runs over the 2nd and 3rd. That was all the offense they would need to grab the win and send Worcester packing. Final Score: Sasquatch 7, Weemen 2.
